Nathan Carlson is Madeline’s ex-husband, the father of Abigail and Chloe, and husband to Bonnie. He’s blonde, strong, and square jawed, and strikes an intimidating figure when he butts heads with Maddie’s new husband Ed. He’s a good dad overall though, trying hard to be supportive when Abigail drops some hard-to-swallow info on him about her “secret project.” Plus he genuinely loves Bonnie. In fact, part of what irks Madeline so much about the remarriage is how much Nathan seems to have grown since their divorce.
