Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of beauty and love. She has a magic girdle that makes everyone fall hard for her. And while she’s technically married to the lame smith god Hephaestus, it’s Ares, the angry god of war, who’s her main fling. He’s also father to most of her kids. The name Celeste appears to be an extension of “Ceres” or “Hestia,” respectively the Roman and Greek goddesses of seasons and harvests. Aphrodite was seen in some cultures as the sexy, summery aspect of this tri-faced deity. In conclusion, we think she’s a beautiful match for Celeste.
