Perry Wright is played by Alexander Sarsgaard, who you might know as Eric from HBO’s “True Blood”. He’s equally menacing in this series as Celeste’s abusive husband, but in turns out he’s also the source of pretty much every woman’s trauma in the town of Otter Bay. His two boys, Max and Josh, each seem to have inherited single aspects from their daddy. Josh is the good-natured sweetheart and Max is the secretly sinister one. Perry himself exhibits both of these qualities, and his day-and-night routine makes it that much harder for Celeste to find peace of mind.
