Bad Habits Emerge
The band was quickly going their separate ways and eventually broke up altogether in 1968. This lead to an increase of downtime for the band members, which proved destructive as many of them developed drug addictions during this time, including Denny Doherty, who suffered with alcoholism in the ‘60s and ‘70s before getting sober in the early ‘80s.
