15. He Is a “Pocho” Crocodile
Chito gave the crocodile a name which in Costa Rican means strong: Pocho. The croc showed his human friend that he was indeed strong and willing to pull through the rough times. He got healthier and gained weight.
Chito explains that “in the beginning, I wasn’t sure of how close I could get. It took me a while to understand the signs he now gives me.” Did Pocho bite his rescuer?
