7. Shacking Hands

The act of shacking hands in order to close a deal or an agreement started in Ancient Greece. Shacking hands on something was recognized as a done deal and Ancient Greeks had to respect it. In addition, the Greek goddess of marriage, Hera, is shown shacking hands with Athena who is the goddess of wisdom.
