Solomon had two temples and one of them was destroyed by the Nebuchadnezzar II in 587 BCE. The temple was then rebuilt after a couple of years passed and the Romans destroyed the second one in 70 CE. Not just that, but the Romans stole a seven-branched Menorah made from pure gold from the temple, but no one knows where it ended up.
