Dead Children’s Playground, Alabama
There are plenty of ghost stories associated with the Maple Hill Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in Alabama. The one that sticks out the most and really sends chills down our backs is “Dead Children’s Playground.” The playground runs alongside the cemetery and is said to be occupied by the ghosts of children. Believers swear they can see swings swaying and orbs of light sliding down the slide when the park is “empty.”
