Sloss Furnaces, Alabama

Sloss has been recorded as having one of the highest rates of unnatural energy. According to lore, the old foreman, James “Slag” Wormwood, worked graveyard hours and mistreated his workers. After his untimely death in the early 1900s, employees constantly found themselves at the mercy of an “unnatural presence” until the plant closed in 1971. The angry presence of Slag is known to appear during the months of September and October to this day.
