French Lick Springs Hotel, Indiana
The French Lick Springs Hotel is known as the most haunted place in the entire state of Indiana. Considering Indiana’s geography, that’s saying a lot. Built in 1845 by Thomas Taggart and currently looked after by the man himself, Taggart’s spirit is known to wander around the service elevator. The staff has also reported the occasional mystery phone call from empty hotel rooms.
