Similar to the story of “Annabelle,” Robert the Doll is known to cause mischief at the Fort East Martello Museum in Florida. He and his creator, Gene Otto, were close growing up. It wasn’t until Otto’s death that the doll’s strange behavior became commonplace. Robert is known to follow conversations with his facial expressions, move from one place in the museum to the next and cause cameras to malfunction.
