White Horse Tavern, Rhode Island
White Horse Tavern was constructed before 1673 and is believed to be the oldest tavern building in the United States. Visitors have claimed to see a man dressed in clothes from the Colonial period hanging out by one of the fireplaces before he disappears into thin air.
