Shea Stadium
The home of the beloved New York Mets, the shea stadium was just as iconic as the team it was housing. It became the venue for numerous iconic homeruns. It’s fair to say that this venue was more than just a structure for a lot of fans. It is a place where a lot of baseball history was made. However, all good things must come to an end. The Mets moved to a different home in 2009. This left the Shea Stadium empty. The demolition of the shea stadium was finally completed, but a lot of fans still could not accept that the original home of the Mets is finally gone.
