Berlin Olympics

When it comes to sports, very few things are considered as historically significant as the 1936 Berlin Olympics. It is the first Olympics ever to be televised. They used gorgeous stadiums and amazing facades to hide Germany’s true intentions. The athletes had to deal with several issues like racism during the games. But despite the odds Jesse Owens, an African-American athlete, led the game with four gold medals. In the end, Germany is still able to take first place overall.
