Miami Marine Stadium
Powerboat racing is a sport that not everyone is familiar, but apparently, it is a huge deal in Miami. The Miami Marine Stadium was the first stadium built exactly for the sport. In fact, it was even listed in the national registry in 2018. The stadium was also the venue for different kinds of famous musicians, from Elvis Presley to Sammy Davis, Jr. One would never think that this stadium would be the victim of abandonment, but today the structure stands eerily vacant. Several locals though are trying to restore this majestic stadium to its former glory.
