Rubber Bowl
Home to the Akron Zips from 1940 to 2008, the rubber bowl sat up to 35,000 dedicated spectators. The Rubber Bowl was so nice that it wasn’t only used for sporting it events. Like the other stadiums in our list, the Rubber Bowl was also used as concert grounds. In fact, a number of notable musicians performed there, from Bob Dylan to Bon Jovi. The Akron Zips found a new home and the state of the Rubber Bowl has never been the same. It was left vacant and was scheduled to be demolished back in 2018.
