Hellinikon Olympic Softball Stadium
I guess a lot of the 2004 Athens Olympics did not go as planned. This is another venue built for the said event, but it wasn’t exactly up to par. Just like a lot of the structures made for the 2004 Athens Olympics, it ended up being such a huge waste of money. I guess it turned out to be a good thing that it wasn’t a huge stadium. It could only seat 5,000 people which helped keep the cost low. Today, the abandoned stadium serves as a constant reminder of the not so successful event.
