Beijing Olympics
The Beijing Olympics was one of the most extravagant and biggest sporting events of all time. China built amazing stadiums and venues that were truly marvels of engineering. These structures were true gems of the Olympics and something that China can truly be proud of. The 2008 Beijing summer Olympics was generally a success despite concern about pollution like poor air and water quality. Just like any other country who has ever hosted the Olympics, the stadiums and the different venues were abandoned and turned into unused structures that serve as a constant reminder of one of the countries’ shining moments.
