Fear the Legs
The Ref is a forgotten movie starring Denis Leary and Kevin Spacey that once made a noise, not because of its great plot or gorgeous cinematography, but because of its ridiculous poster. Why were we not informed that Denis Leary is quite the long-legged that he borders to a supernatural creature? In the notorious poster, it shows Leary, who plays a villain, looming his long leg over the two leads. While it might not have been edited in Photoshop as it’s released in 1994, it’s still a good example of weird design execution. It’s an entertaining poster, but the logic behind it is muddling it.
