Extravagant Ostrich
Along with a beautiful taxidermy ostrich, there were also a few stuffed toys, including Mickey Mouse and Porky the Pig. Both were dated to around 1937/8. Searching through the house, they did come across a couple of newspapers that were reporting on the war.
It explained why Madame de Florian and her son decided to leave for Southern France, which eventually led to them never turning back.
