When Rocky first came to Allen and his husband, it was with the intention of releasing him back into the wild once he was strong and healthy enough. However, it had already been too long, and Rocky had become too accustomed to living with the couple that when it came time to release him, it wasn’t an option anymore. “By the time he ended up becoming an adult and I looked at releasing him, I realized I had already done way too much wrong to be able to release him,” Allen admitted. Desperate times called for desperate measures and there was only one option to take.
