The vets sprang into action and tried to save the baby squirrel. They knew it must have been less than 5 weeks old because its eyes weren’t even open yet. Allen went back to see if there was any sign of the animal’s mother or any siblings. Despite his search, Allen could find no sign of them. Someone would need to give the baby squirrel constant care.
