The staff at the animal clinic took turns caring for the squirrel, even taking it home because it needed 24-hour care. Allen’s partner also worked at the clinic and also took the baby squirrel home when his turn came. They hadn’t taken care of a squirrel before, but at least it would only be for a short while before they released it back into the wild. Allen didn’t see a problem with that, so he agreed.
