#1. Ryan Gosling Didn’t Want To Kiss Rachel McAdams
The Notebook may well be one of the most iconic, heart-wrenching drama films of the 21st century. Bearing this in mind, it may come to a shock that lead actors Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling were reluctant to film any kissing scenes at first.
Apparently, the two didn’t get along with each other when the movie was shot, and they didn’t even want to be in the same room nor kiss each other onscreen. Now I get why the couple’s love-hate relationship in the film was so believable!
