#25. Neal McDonough Was Opposed To Kissing Virginia Madsen

Neal McDonough has openly outspoken about not wanting to be romantic with anyone else but his wife, this is because of the actor’s religion. As a man, his beliefs should be highly respected, but as an actor, they may spell trouble for his career.
On the TV series Scoundrel, McDonough was unwilling to be intimate with his onscreen love interest, Virginia Madsen. The actor was fired because of this and subsequently replaced by David James Elliott. Although McDonough says he doesn’t have any regrets.
“When you’re in bed with another woman on screen — guess what? That’s real. I don’t like that kind of stuff. Especially now with kids, I don’t want to have my kids say, ‘Hey, Dad, what are you doing with that lady on screen?”, he said.
