When Alyson Hannigan and Jason Segel were a couple on How I Met Your Mother, they had to kiss multiple times. In the beginning, Hannigan was uncomfortable with the idea of kissing Segel. Why did she feel that way?
Hannigan didn’t like the smell of smoke and cigarettes, and Segel was a smoker. Hannigan refused to kiss him until he stopped smoking. Initially, Segel agreed to pay her $10 whenever he had a cigarette. After seeing how much of his money dissolved into this, he decided to finally give up smoking. And that’s when they started shooting all the kissing scenes!
