Breakout Role
The role of Ling Wu wasn’t the role that Lucy initially read at her audition. She read the part of Nell Porter who was played by Portia Rossi. The producers were so impressed with Lucy that they created a character just for her! The role of Ling Wu was supposed to be a temporary role but the producers and the audience liked her so much that she remained a regular cast member. But as Lucy stood amongst her cast members on the set something didn’t sit right with her.
