Labor
I was in the hospital to deliver my child and I was feeling a little off due to the meds. But I remember lots of doctors and nurses huddled around me, so I decided to say, “I bet you’re wandering why I’ve gathered all of you here.”
But to my surprise, barely a chuckle came out of one of the doctors. I still remember that moment to that day and wish they had laughed.
