Reddit user karina_r_w told us her parents’ story and it’s so funny! Her parents were celebrating New Years and her dad got emotional and asked her mom to get married, even with no ring:
“My mom said she was going to think about it. After a month of not mentioning the topic again, my dad was all anxious and asked her if she had enough time to think. She asked, ‘About what?’ My dad responded, ‘About us getting married.’ To which my mom answered, ‘Oh, that was serious?’”
A Month later, she said yes. Thirty years later, they’re still happily married!
