Shannon even took the “you are what you eat” phrase a step further when she made a drastic change to her eating habits. Shannon says that we are not only what we eat, but we are also whatever we eat ate. This means that Shannon believes that we also absorb whatever our meat ate while it was alive. So, by this logic, she only eats free-range eggs and free-range hens, which lived a healthier lifestyle and also produce more Omega 3. But when her first daughter, Grace, was born in 2014, Shannon wanted to teach Grace to have a happy relationship with healthy food. This, in turn, led to her dramatic decision.
