Susan Boyle shocked the nation with her 2009 performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” on Britain’s Got Talent. She was even able to get Simon Cowell to say something positive about her! Now that’s a talent in of its self.
Boyle made headlines again in 2014 when she applied for a job as a cashier but it turned out to be a false alarm. “I just went in on the off-chance. It was kind of a desire to be normal. And it was a quiet period. I just got panicky (about fame). But I wouldn’t want to scrap the job I already have (music). I absolutely love it,” she told the press later.
