2. Mara Wilson
Mara Wilson might not be the most recognizable name on this list but you will certainly recognize her as the star of Matilda, Miracle on 34th Street, and Mrs. Doubtfire. Even though it seemed that Mara had a very promising career ahead of her, she soon left it behind to focus on other things instead.
Mara had discovered a passion for writing and philanthropy. In 2016 she published a book she wrote about her experience of being a child star called Where Am I Now?: True Stories of Girlhood and Accidental Fame. Her current job, however, is as colorful as she is. She works for a nonprofit organization in New York called Publicolor. The company promotes the use of color in schools and the positive effects that color can have on students and staff.
