41. Jack Gleeson
Poor Jack Gleeson became the object of everyone’s hatred as the evil King Joffrey Baratheon on the HBO hit show Game of Thrones. After his character was murdered off the series (to everyone’s delight) he stated that he had permanently retired from acting.
Gleeson has since moved on to the world of academia. He studies philosophy and theology at Trinity College in Dublin. He now runs his own touring theatre company called Collapsing Horse. The company debuted with a puppet show called Bears in Space.
