Probably one of the best known and most popular rom-coms of all time is undoubtedly Pretty Woman, starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. However, few people realize that one of the most endearing and famous scenes from the film was entirely unscripted. In the scene where Gere snaps a jewelry box closed just as Roberts reaches for it was just a joke Gere decided to play on his co-star.
However, the Roberts’ reaction was so fantastic that the director simply decided it needed to remain in the film.
