#53. The Last Samurai
While most bloopers are simple mistakes that slip past editors, some are so good and perfect for the film or character that they get left in intentionally. One such moment appears in the Tom Cruise film The Last Samurai. During a certain scene, Cruise is dismounting a horse when the horse lashes out, kicking an unsuspecting extra right in the stomach.
Possibly a case of adding insult to injury, the poor extra’s misfortune is forever immortalized as the director like the scene as it is and refused to remove the moment.
