A lot of teenagers can’t afford to go out and pay for their own meals. But if a teen does manage to save up enough, it’s a feeling of independence like no other. Especially if you can also pay for your friends. At this point, you wouldn’t care what form the money was in. Who cares if it’s paper, plastic, or coins?
