Most of the boy’s income came in the form of tips. This meant most of his money was generally spare change. Over time, he accumulated a lot of quarters. He didn’t feel like exchanging the quarters for notes. He’d have to go to the bank after every shift. He loved taking his friends out to eat with the money he’d earned.
