Pulled Over
Adam rolls down in his window and the cop peers inside. She smiles at Cheryl who flashes a smile back, signaling the cop to look in the dashboard. But she didn’t take the hint. Instead, she asked to see Adam’s license and registration. Cheryl knew she couldn’t waste this opportunity. She had to do something. But just as she was about to create a distraction, the officer gave Adam the all clear and told him to carry on driving and Cheryl’s heart sunk. She was stuck.
