Hello, Dolly! : Miracle Clean
One of the best things about this 1969 musical is well known for its wonderful costumes. The screen is filled from edge to edge with glittering eye-candy set in the 1890’s. One dress, however, undergoes a miraculous change. After one particular dance number between actor Michael Crawford and a female co-star, the woman’s dress has been trailing in the ground and is clearly dirty and the worse for wear. In the very next scene, her dress is perfectly clean. It might only be a continuity error but it’s quite visible and distracting.
