8. A Strange Early Race in Alaska
If nothing has impressed you so far, then wait until you see the Fur Rondy Festival outhouse races. Yes, we said outhouse races, and we meant it! People actually decorate outhouses, place them on skis and race each other. The winners get the title king and queen of the throne. This event takes place in February in Anchorage.
