6. Roadkill Is Essential
Many states see roadkill as something yucky, but in Alaska, when a moose or a reindeer is hit (which are the property of the state), motorists that see the animals must call the authorities. They will send charity volunteers who will pick up and butcher the roadkill, and then send the meat to families that need food.
