5. The Alaskan Natives Are 25% of the State’s Population

Alaska’s population has the biggest concentration of indigenous people, who are known as Alaska Natives and are part of the five groupings: Inupiat, Yuit, Athabascans, Tlingit, Haida. They hunt, and fish and have almost 200 villages, harvesting animals like sea otters, whales, seals, and polar bears.
