Whitney Cerak was 18 years old, and a native of Gaylord, MI. She was a freshman at Taylor. Her parents were devastated by the news that their daughter had been killed in the crash. They began the heartbreaking task of planning their daughter’s funeral. Days later, an estimated 1,400 people attended that funeral, with Cerak’s sister providing the eulogy.
