Using 3D software and virtual reality, it was easier to create the models of the twins heads and brains. They knew what issues the twins had before the operations.
The neurosurgeon said that “to be able to see and visualize this and play with these models before the surgery makes an enormous difference to how we plan and do this operation.” The day of the operation was getting closer and it was time to see if all the technology would help saving the girls.
