It turned out that because of the storm, the old man couldn’t get out to go to the store, so the dog – unbeknownst to the man – went and picked up his own food! It also seemed that this dog Otis was a local celebrity. Residents of the town knew exactly who he was and Otis reveled in his well-deserved fame!
