It was a Friday night when word spread that Texas would soon be hit by Storm Harvey. So Texans fled to their local supermarket to stockpile on necessities. Mom of three, Kayla Smith who recently moved to the neighborhood, was paying for her basket full of food when thunder cried out from the blackened sky, the clouds invisible above. Kayla shuddered, her teeth grinding in anticipation. She nervously smiles at the cashier, not knowing her world was about to get turned upside down.
