Air Bear
Photographer, Florian Ledoux, won the highest accolade at the 2017 Skypixel awards for this photograph. It shows a polar bear as it struggles to cross the ice cap of the Arctic. This image also clearly shows the severe impact that global warming is having on our planet. Florian hopes that his photo will help to raise awareness so that some solutions can be found so that many people may enjoy such natural wonders in the future.
