Rob Lowe was trying to rebuild his reputation after a sex tape he starred in which the tabloids got their hands on. In an attempt to build a more family-friendly image by performing a song and dance routine. In this routine, an unknown actress portrayed Snow White. Sadly for Lowe, this didn’t have the desired effect and the Academy ended up facing a lawsuit from Disney for using the character without permission.
