Pompeii Hosted Gladiator Fights
Pompeii held famous gladiator fights in their amphitheaters. These blood thirsty spectacles consisted of several events and attracted the whole city. First, the show would start with an animal hunt, followed by public execution and then the main event – gladiator fighting, which was ultimately a death match between two men.
