Worrying Parents
The Pacific Crest Trail is a 2650-mile-long route from Mexico to Canada, so they had many valid concerns when Tracy shared her decision about hiking it. The route was dangerous, and it didn’t help that there was no nearby civilization. She would only be surrounded by nature and wildlife.
They were worried that Tracy would be alone if something happened to her and knew how many risks were involved. Despite how much her parents tried to get her to change her mind, she was determined to do it.
